People often ask how we ended up with two drummers — and why. It all started when we just needed a cowbell for a recording. Victor kept playing more and more, and we realized having two drummers was incredible. Now, we can’t imagine it any other way.
We often call it the rhythmic sea. When the beat isn’t a straightforward backbeat, when you can’t easily pin down the rhythm, it sparks the imagination. The two drummers constantly inspire each other, pushing the music into new territory. The result is something layered, complex, and full of unexpected shifts.
It’s not jazz, it’s not rock — it’s a fusion of world music, rock, and jazz. It’s so undefined that it leaves more room for creativity and imagination
Breaking the usual rules, open the door for something new to happen - that’s definitely our experience.
