We’ve chosen not to play in Denmark as a quartet this time around — but this summer we will be playing in Denmark with Teitur. And we’re heading to Tórshavn! Super excited to share our Common music from The record Kvæði with the Faroese audience.
After that, we’re off to Germany — to some of the places we’ve played many times before.
Sep 25 – Feinkost Lampe, Hannover (DE)
We’re returning to this magical little basement with colorful lights and room for just 50 people. You don’t make much money there — but the vibe? Hard to march. Honestly, we almost made it a rule for ourselves: we have to play Feinkost Lampe when touring in Germany. There ’s always something special that happens in that close, intimate space. We love choosing the small rooms too — they create a different kind of connection than the bigger stages and Festivals (which we’ll also be playing).
It’s also part of getting a closer connection with your audience: returning to the places where it resonates. That’s how listeners become fans. And visa versa. This year, we’re playing a show organized by one of those very fans — someone who came to an early show and is now a true superfan. Huge thanks to Stephanie. This is what it’s all about. 💛
Sep 27 – Burg Vischering, Lüdinghausen (DE)
Yes, it’s a castle. On an island. In a moat. We can’t wait.
If you’re coming to any of the shows, drop a comment here — we’d love to know!
